Opelousas Alumni Chapter to Host "Leaders in Training" Program
On Saturday, March 11, 2017, the Opelousas Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., will be hosting its annual Newman Braud Guide Right Program. The theme of the program this year is "Leaders in Training." The program will take place Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at the Opelousas Boys & Girls Club of Acadiana located at 814 E. Laurant Street, Opelousas, LA 70570. Registration for all participants will be from 8:00 am to 8:45 am.
The day will be filled with fun activities, good food, and motivational tools designed to inspire students to stay on track and overcome obstacles. Activities will include seminars on personal health and hygiene, drug and alcohol abuse, bullying and cyberbullying, anger management, and gun safety and awareness. Lunch will be provided, and the program will culminate with recreational activity.
