Kappa League Students Resume Service with the Opelousas Lighthouse Mission

Saturday, November 12, 2016, the Opelousas Alumni Kappa League began another year of service to the Opelousas community by joining forces with Community Chapel Church of God in Christ, in Opelousas, for a service event dedicated to community members taking refuge at the Opelousas Lighthouse Mission. The weekend's mission focused on three pivotal goals -- respecting individuals of the community without regard to race or socioeconomic status, displaying good character in dealing with those less fortunate, and maintaining a positive perspective with individuals that may view the world differently.

The weekend was a success in the community of Opelousas, and Kappa League students continue to strengthen relationships with citizens in the Opelousas community.
